Holmber exited Monday's 4-2 loss to the Buffalo Sabres after only 8:21 time-on-ice due to an upper-body injury. The severity of his injury has not yet been revealed, but Tampa Bay Head Coach Jon Cooper expressed concerns following the game. The 27-year-old Swedish forward has 22 points (11G / 11A) in 69 games this season.

Faulk has not played in Detroit's previous two games due to a lower-body injury, but could be an option on Tuesday against the Columbus Blue Jackets. The 34-year-old Faulk is averaging 19:56 time-on-ice and has three points (1G / 2A) in 12 games since joining the Red Wings at the trade deadline.

Chabot is about two weeks into his four-to-eight week recovery timeline after undergoing surgery, but has back at practice in a limited capacity on Tuesday. The 29-year-old defenseman has 31 points (7G / 24A) in 55 games this season and is unlikely to suit up before the playoffs.

Dach has been sidelined for over three weeks due to an upper-body injury, but should return to the lineup on Tuesday against the Florida Panthers. The 25-year-old forward has battled a myriad of injuries in his young career, which has likely impacted his inability to live up to his third-overall draft status from the 2019 NHL Entry Draft. Dach has 14 points (8G / 6A) in 32 games this season.

Texier has been sidelined for two weeks due to a lower-body injury, but should return to the lineup on Tuesday against the Florida Panthers. The 26-year-old French forward has been effective since joining the Canadiens earlier this season, scoring 19 points (8G / 11A) in 38 games, but has just three points (1G / 2A) in his last 14 outings.

Hague was limited to only 2:34 time-on-ice in Nashville's previous game due to an upper-body injury, and his status was uncertain for Monday's game against the Los Angeles Kings. The 27-year-old defenseman is averaging 19:38 time-on-ice and has 15 points (3G / 12A) in 62 games.

Grubauer exited the game with just over six minutes remaining in the second period and was unable to return. We should get an update on his status ahead of Seattle's game in Minnesota on Tuesday.

Mangiapane has not played in nearly three weeks, but will return on Monday against the San Jose Sharks. The Edmonton Oilers signed Mangiapane in the off-season to provide some depth scoring, but after tallying just 14 points (7G / 7A) and a -19 plus/minus in 52 games, he was dealt to the Blackhawks in a trade. Through seven games with Chicago, the 29-year-old Mangiapane has two points (1G / 1A) and a -3 plus/minus.

Sabourin was playing regularly for Tampa Bay towards the end of March, but he had missed two straight due to an undisclosed injury. The 33-year-old Sabourin has four points (1G / 3A) and 89 penalty minutes in 22 games this season.

Cirelli was a surprise scratch on Monday, with the Lightning not announcing his absence prior to warmups. He is considered day-to-day with the injury. Scott Sabourin will draw into the lineup in his place.

Mangiapane has not played in nearly three weeks, but could be an option on Monday against the San Jose Sharks.

Kane has been in and out of the lineup in recent games, and it is unclear what his status is for Tuesday's game against the Vegas Golden Knights. The 34-year-old Kane is averaging 16:25 time-on-ice and has 31 points (13G / 18A) in 71 games this season.

With Lankinen sidelined, expect Nikita Tolopilo to see the majority of the action between the pipes for the Canucks. The 30-year-old Lankinen has a 3.69 GAA and .875 SV% in 44 games this season (9-26-5), and it is unclear if he will target a return in one of Vancouver's final six games this season.

With their playoff hopes on the line, the Sharks will continue their push, with their offensive leader, Celebrini, in the lineup on Monday. The second-year forward has been outstanding for the Sharks this season, scoring a remarkable 106 points (41G / 65A) through 75 games at the age of 19. He has nearly double the production of the second-highest point producer on the team, which is Will Smith with 54 points.

Mintyukov just recently returned to the lineup after missing time with a lower-body injury, and quickly returned to the sidelines and missed another two games. That said, he was back at practice on Monday and could be an option on Tuesday against the Nashville Predators. The 33-year-old Hyman has 51 points (31G / 20A) in 57 games this season, an impressive turnaround after a disappointing 2024-25 campaign when he had only 44 points (27G / 17A) in 73 outings.

Draisaitl suffered a lower-body injury in mid-March that effectively ruled him out for the remainder of the regular season, but Oilers' Head Coach Kris Knoblauch suggested that Draisaitl being available for game one is a possibility. The 30-year-old German forward had another outstanding season but, unfortunately, fell short of the 100-point mark for the seventh time in his career due to his shortened season. He scored 97 points (35G / 62A) in 65 games this season.

Seeing timely updates to the NHL injury report can make a major impact on your daily fantasy sports picks and wagers on a particular game. All information provided on the NHL injury report is provided directly by the NHL and each respective franchise to ensure accuracy.
While the minimum amount of time spent on the injured reserve list is seven calendar days, there is no maximum amount of time that a player can be placed on the injured reserve list. If a player is set to be sidelined for longer than 24 calendar days or 10 NHL games, then a club may opt to place them on the long-term injured reserve instead. This allows franchises with the ability to exceed the salary cap while a player is placed on this reserve list.
No injury recovery timeline is the same as another as there are several factors that go into the rehab process for a player being affected by injury. Factors include but are not limited to, injury severity, player injury/medical history, age, as well as the location of the injury. Some injuries are able to clear up in a matter of days, while others may take an athlete out of action for the entirety of a season.
